Roundup Cancer Verdict Paves Way for Other Lawsuits

Roundup Cancer Verdict Paves Way for Other Lawsuits A California jury recently awarded terminally ill, 46-year-old Dewayne Johnson, $289.2 million in a case against Monsanto. Johnson claimed that he developed non-Hodgkin lymphoma after using Monsanto's products while working as a groundskeeper. Following the verdict, Monsanto released a statement. Scott Partridge, Monsanto Vice President, via statement Monsanto intends to appeal the court's decision, but Johnson's case is one of about 4,000 people who have similar claims against Monsanto's products.
